Сона Джобарте: наследница традиций гриотов по материалам арт-дайджеста «Солонеба»На современном музыкальном олимпе Сона Джобарте является уникальным случаем. Она – первая женщина из касты гриотов, играющая на коре – 21-струнной западно-африканской арфе, которую по праву считают королевой африканских инструментов. Кроме того Сона от природы наделена композиторскими способностями, прекрасным вокалом, искусно владеет гитарой и различными видами перкуссии. Сона родилась в Лондоне, а её родители родом из Гамбии. Она принадлежат к одному из пяти основных семейств гриотов в Западной Африке. Искусство гриотов, как известно, передается из поколения в поколение, от отца – к сыну (женщины, как правило, находились в стороне от процесса передачи музыкальных семейных ценностей). Музыка гриотов никак не записывается, это устная традиция. Удивительно, но гриоты хранят в памяти не только обросшую легендами историю своего народа, но и историю каждого отдельного рода и семейного клана. Сона является внучкой мастера игры на коре Амаду Бансанга Джобарте, родной сестрой мультиинструменталиста Тунде Джегеде и двоюродной сестрой знаменитого исполнителя на коре Тумани Диабате. Обучение игре на коре началось для Соны в трехлетнем возрасте, сначала под присмотром брата, а затем под руководством её отца Санджелли Джобарте. А уже в четыре года Сона дала своё первое выступление в одном из джазовых кафе Лондона. На сегодняшний день у талантливой наследницы традиций гриотов, несмотря на молодость, весьма внушительный послужной список.
