Конечно - испробовано на себе - установилось без проблем.
Поиск по Google дал следующее - подобные ошибки возникают на неанглийских версиях XP, где группа
Users называется по-другому, например,
Пользователи.. Достаточно создать группу
Users и проблема должна исчезнуть.
Вариант 1
"To complete the installation a Users group must be created. This can be done from Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management and then expanding System Tools>Local Users and Groups>Groups. Right click Groups and choose New Group, name it “Users”. Or execute the attached batch file which contains the command “net localgroup Users /add” which will add the Users group. It will report if the group already exists or it will create the group."

The Solution:
Create a group called 'Users' prior to install and add your username to it. Here's a step-by-step:
1 - Click Start->Run.
2 - Type CMD and click OK. A command prompt window will open.
3 - Type the following commands:
net localgroup Users /add <--this creates a new group called 'Users'
net localgroup Users YourUserName /add <--this adds your username to the new 'Users' group.
Then run the install and it'll work.
Solution Example:
My login username for XP is Robbeh, so at the command prompt I'd enter these commands:
net localgroup Users /add
net localgroup Users Robbeh /add
