Climax Landers’ relatable freak rock follows no rules. They sing to spread love and cherish the world’s cause. Unity over law, love over all. We’re here to have fun, too. The band’s earthy music is a new form of psychedelic Guthrie folk, tied up in Pollard aesthetics, fried to celestial rock ‘n’ roll. The band exists in today’s Brooklyn, a beautiful and old city stifled by our modern age of stinking convenience. Despite the techno-plutocracy suffocating truth and beauty, our intrepid group fulfills communal bonds and commitments—inspiring newcomers and old friends to fight for the days ahead.
'Zenith No Effects' is the quartet’s awesome return statement to the rockin’ collective. Comprised of Will, Ani, Paco, and Charlie, each member of the band brings their unique talents and personalities to cohere in ecstatic expression under the Climax Landers banner. They all sing, playing multiple instruments; united like four great directors coordinating a new achievement in enlightening bliss.
The album begins immediately, offering transport to fantasy lands unknown and then to recognizable adolescent hallways. The band is in sync, playing a timeless rock music dancing on the fringe of classification. Powerful pleas for love and collective unionization stand out with "My Loving Sister" and "The Judge." Climax Landers’ shared voices, music, and message are woven together with natural purpose. This is the sound of friendship, this is the sound of love. There is a melancholic triumph to 'Zenith No Effects,' the band's first album in six years. We won’t stop fighting, and we will celebrate our every breath!
