Описание: Документальный фильм, основанный на нашумевшей в свое время книге Manufacturing Consent Ноама Хомского, важного лингвиста и легендарного политического активиста ("возможно, одного из главных современных интеллектуалов"). Но во многом фильм исследует жизнь и взгляда самого Хомского. В итоге за почти три часа здесь можно ознакомиться в краткой форме для дальнейшего самостоятельного исследования с такими темами, как "модель пропаганды" в западных корпоративных СМИ (хотя об этом лучше прочитать саму книгу Manufacturing Consent - на данный момент, правда, непереведенную), малоизвестные военные преступления США в Юго-Восточной Азии, основы анархо-синдикализма, а также непростой опыт работы со СМИ самого Хомского (человеку сейчас 94 года, а он дает по 4 интервью в день, продолжает писать статьи с книгами и сохраняет поразительную трезвость ума; дай бог каждому).
