The first album by the band Earthtones represents a self-contained concept. Each song reflects a different shade and timbre of the band, which surfaced in a two and a half year songwriting process - and thus a certain earth tone, between singer-songwriter-pop and indie Folk. The theme, which extends through the entire album, is also decisive: interpersonal relationships in their most diverse facets. A self-contained color selection of instrumentation, above all the timbre of the violin, highlights Earthtones in the musical landscape in a refreshing way and classifies it far away from one-dimensional genre clichés. A great attention to detail extends through the entire production of the band connecting the listener even more deeply with their music.
