Believe it or not, we are not deaf. And here is a “decent comment”.
Who is Mr. Alexandre Bak? Does his company have a registered address? Did he pay any license fee to the owner of the original album? Very unlikely.
Would he refund me if I found his remastering unsatisfactory? Even more unlikely.
Did he download the original album from a reliable site (e.g. Prestoclassical) ?
This too is hard to believe, since it would have cost him $ 12,50 (see
https://www.prestomusic.com/classical/search?search_query=Ravel%20Cluytens) while he is reselling his “product” for $ 12.45 (CD quality) to $ 15.56 (see
https://www.qobuz.com/us-en/album/ravel-the-piano-concertos-by-samson-francois-sa...l/p4gk1fg4uyvnb)
So let’s say he might have gotten the album … from here! : [TR24][SM][OF] Maurice Ravel - Piano Concertos - Samson Francois, Andre Cluytens & Paris Conservatoire Orchestra (2011 - Remaster) [rutracker-5090886].torrent
Then he opened the original files in any audio correction software and just added a little boost to the mid frequencies. This always sounds “brilliant” and “sharper” and “clearer” to the untrained ear.
He then changes the tracks sequence (just in case…), adds a home-made new cover, posts his “creation” on qobuz, promotes it on his YouTube channel and waits for some naïve music lover to download it.
