A series of short, minimalistic duos between bass clarinet and piano, recorded to a 1940's era Wilcox Gay record lathe. This is "post-improvised" music, i.e. these pieces are free improvisations in the sense that players are free to make any choices desired, however the choice in most of these pieces is improvise within a very narrow bandwidth of sound color, emphasizing attack, decay, and the repetition of short interlocking phrases rather than linear melodic or rhythmic development.
