Who said technology is killing live music? FADE (A State of Mind) and BLANKA (La Fine Equipe) are proving exactly the opposite with their new project JUKEBOX CHAMPIONS. The duo has created a unique live performance using MPC samplers, turntables, visuals and various other "toys" that is as spectacular as it is entertaining. Described as "AMAZING" by Akai Professional (creators of the legendary MPC series) there won't be any hiding behind laptops, or heads down staring at controllers, everything on stage is made to face the audience so you can really experience each moment of the show.
Both Fade and Blanka are already well known within the industry for their work. Fade (UK) is producer and DJ for ASM (A State of Mind), who are widely considered one of the top European hip hop acts currently touring, he's played more than 300 shows in 15 countries, and worked with the likes of Sadat X (brand nubian), Wildchild (stones throw), DJ Vadim, reggae legend Cornell Campbell, to name just a few. Blanka (FR) makes up one fourth of the incredible French beatmakers La Fine Equipe. He started work in radio 12 years ago and has since worked for Radio Nova, while also running the mastering studio (Kasablanka). He's mastered over 100 albums and worked together with Onra, T3 (slum village), CL Smooth, Tha Trickaz, Declaime, Chief and many more.

The JUKEBOX CHAMPIONS first EP was released November 2012 and featured Kid Creole, Deluxe, ASM and Lauren Spink. It's a smooth combination of Funk, Hip Hop, Soul and Turntablism and gained high praise from both press and fans alike. It also led them to represent Adidas Originals in their newest advertising campaign for France, which gained over 100,000 views on youtube in two days. They are currently touring and working on their full length album, which will be released in 2013.
