Strong Arm of The Law is the third studio album by heavy metal band Saxon released in 1980. This was released a few months after the classic Wheels of Steel and debuted on the UK chart at #11.
"Dallas 1 PM" was written about the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

Saxon's Strong Arm of the Law continues the barrage of no-nonsense hard rockin' cuts from English metal merchants. True pioneers of the notorious NWoBHM movement, the third studio release from Biff (Peter) Byford and the boys kicks off with the fist-pumping anthem "Heavy Metal Thunder", which sets the tone for the entire LP. Saxon never relent, as the bombastic title track, plus "20,000 Feet", "Sixth Form Girls", and the stellar closing number, the epic "Dallas 1 PM", drive the disc.
