Bulldogs is a dubstep / cyberpunk band from Berlin. One member is The
Frog, who operates the machinery on stage. The other member is The Foliot,
who plays the drums. We perform the stuff Wartech produces, live on stage
using an acoustic drum kit, turntables and different audio gear we need to
play the productions live.
Glamour Job is a very mystical tune with beautiful "enchanted forest"
melodies in the beginning followed by a big bassline part. After the first
drop the tune calms down for a while to morph into a funky-wobblius second
drop. The percussion in the track is mainly made of empty sweets boxes,
paper and pencils. The tune tells the story of a girl meeting a huge, but
very soft and cuddly monster that is asleep.
The intro of Iron Blood is based on a Spanish guitar sample that leads to
a massive and very brutal first drop with almost hardcore-metal likish
wave-multiplying action. The Spanish guitar comes back for the breakdown
and leads to a different, maybe even harder second drop. This track is
pure, hard energy.
The Hippo is a 60 BPM tune that sounds a little like dubstep made by Phil
Collins and Vangelis on very potent magic mushrooms. There is this
"enchanted forest" feeling in it again that Wartech loves very much.
Something very special about this track is the side-chaining action going
on in it.
