Returning with the third in their Landforms EP series, 10-20 once again venture
off into the wilder frontiers of contemporary beat making. The wonderfully
arrhythmic 'Wercc' opens the collection in the style of an acid record falling
over itself, before 'Globe' sifts through skittering micro-beats and heavily
layered, granulated debris in an Autechre-like fashion. You can hear shards of
an electro influence refracting through 'Majik', although the soundscape remains
thoroughly deconstructed and with more than a twinge of IDM about it, while
finally, 'Littoral' immerses itself in a squelchy sci-fi ambience.
